I would like to see a play in sign language. I never thought about it before you said that the widest space may be used for theater.
ReplyDeleteThat would be cool.
DeleteI enjoyed learning this in class. It was interesting to learn that there are different "areas" of doing sign language, and when to use them. I will deffinetly start practicing all of these.
ReplyDeleteI actually really enjoyed this part of class. I think it's incredibly fascinating and I'm glad that I know better how to communicate in different scenarios.
ReplyDeleteIt was helpful to learn about signing space. It was awkward to freesign in theater space. lol
ReplyDeleteThe most amazing thing to me is that our teacher and TA can keep straight faces when we do this as an exercise in class, especially the high volume (theater?). But seriously, "signing spaces" is another example that in ASL you can say and express anything in any way you want.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea about signing space or facial expression being part of ASL. I find that fascinating and challenging all at the same time!
ReplyDeleteUtilizing ALL of my signing spaces has been one of my biggest challenges. I plan to focus on this as an area of needed improvement.
